Why We Built This

We've lived the construction life — lumber yards, jobsites, production facilities. We've seen the spreadsheets, the sticky notes, the "that's how we've always done it." Every founder here is a civil engineer who worked construction before writing a line of code.
Benchmark started as a construction robotics company. Robots can't work from a drawing — they need the whole structure resolved, member by member, connection by connection, before anything gets built. So that's what we built: software that reads the blueprint and assembles the structure. That engine became Benchmark.
Today our AI reads your plans and builds the structure in software. We count each element, and an estimator checks the work before it ships — engineering discipline applied to work we've done with our own hands.

Benchmark takes what the architect drew and turns it into exactly what gets built and exactly what gets loaded on the truck. Today that's quantities and wall panel designs. Next it's truss designs, engineered lumber, structural drawings, the stamp.
